APPIA-GULP-PRODE'98 Preliminary Call for Papers 1998 JOINT CONFERENCE ON DECLARATIVE PROGRAMMING A Coruna, Spain July 20-23, 1998 Following APPIA-GULP-PRODE'97 in Grado (Italy) the next joint APPIA, GULP, and PRODE conference will be held in A Coruna (Spain), in July, 1998. Scope: ----- The aim of the Conference is to foster scientific meetings between Italian, Portuguese and Spanish researchers, to improve the knowledge of the state of the art of declarative programming (through the invited talks and tutorials) and to show the ongoing research done mainly in these three countries (through presentations of papers). The technical program for the conference will include tutorials, invited lectures and presentations of papers. Papers will be reviewed and the accepted submissions will be published as a Technical Report. Please specify whether the submitted paper is also under consideration (or accepted) for presentation in other meetings. Submissions of papers are welcome on all aspects of declarative programming, including, but not limited to: - Theoretical Foundations - Applications - Implementation Issues - Extensions To submit a paper: ----------------- Papers must not exceed 12 double-spaced pages (page margin: 2.5 cms all around), including references and figures and must include a cover page containing the following: title of the paper, a 200-word abstract, keywords, postal and electronic mailing addresses, and voice and fax numbers of one of the authors. Papers must be written in English, which is the official language of the conference. A style file with the appropriate page size can be retrieved by anonymous ftp from ftp://ftp.fi.udc.es/pub/agp98 or by the conference web site. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference. Authors are invited to submit their papers electronically in (compressed uuencoded) postscript version to the following e-mail address: agp98@fi.udc.es At the time of submission a message containing an ASCII version of the paper's cover page should also be sent by e-mail to the above address.
