Preliminary Call for Papers APPIA-GULP-PRODE'96 1996 JOINT CONFERENCE ON DECLARATIVE PROGRAMMING Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain July 15 - 18, 1996 Following the GULP-PRODE'94 in Pen~iscola (Spain) and the GULP-PRODE'95 in Marina di Vietri (Italy), next GULP and PRODE conferences will be held jointly in Donostia-San Sebastian (Spain) in July 15-18, 1996. In this and subsequent editions the joint conference will also benefit of the collaboration of APPIA, the Portuguese Association for AI. The aim of the Conference is to foster scientific meetings between Italian, Portuguese and Spanish researchers, to improve the knowledge of the state of the art of declarative programming (through the invited talks and tutorials) and to show the ongoing research done mainly in these three countries (through presentations of papers). Papers will be reviewed and accepted submissions will be published as a Technical Report. Please specify whether this work is submitted or accepted for presentation in other meetings. Extensions Papers must not exceed 12 double-spaced pages (page margin: 2.5 cms all around), including a 200 word abstract, keywords, references and figures, and can be written in Italian, Portuguese, Spanish or, preferably, in English. The cover page of the submission should include the title of the paper, the abstract, author's name, address, and phone number, as well as the electronic address and fax number, when available. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference.
