SLOVAK ACADEMY OF SCIENCES SCIENTIFIC BOARD FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES Seventh International Conference ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND INFORMATION-CONTROL SYSTEMS OF ROBOTS First Announcement and Call for Papers September 10-14, 1997 Congress Centre Smolenice Castle near Bratislava, Slovakia Continuing in the traditions of previous AIICSR Conferences held in 1980-1994, the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Scientific Board for Artificial Intelligence of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in cooperation with Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics and Association of Slovak Scientific and Technical Societies are organizing the Seventh International Conference ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND INFORMATION-CONTROL SYSTEMS OF ROBOTS to be held at Congress Centre, Smolenice Castle near Bratislava. The Conference is sponsored by a grant of the Commission of European Communities, Brussels. AIM OF THE CONFERENCE The aim of the Conference is to acquaint the participants with contemporary state-of-the-art and recent results in Artificial Intelligence (AI), intelligent information-control systems of robots and parallel, distributed and decentralized computer architectures for AI and robotics. Conference program includes invited and submitted papers. Panel discussions and exhibition covering participants own works will also be organized. The papers will be published as the Conference Proceedings. SUBMISSION OF PAPERS Authors are invited to submit five copies of full draft paper (max. 12 pages).
